Right from the start, when our experience in Finland began, we were informed about our work and tasks in the relative companies: needless to say, the most envied job was that of our friend David who would be working in a local recreation center, the Activity Maker , precisely.
The activity is presented to us with a small room that serves as a reception and information center from which it is possible to receive advice and / or select one of the various games offered. Once you have chosen the activity you want to carry out, a short staircase leads us to a large room where you prepare yourself with the appropriate equipment.
Although the activity offers different types of outdoor and indoor entertainment, there were mainly two:
- Escape Room
- Laser Tag
Both are fairly new and more or less popular in the Western society. In Italy, for example, the Laser Tag, a battle ‘simulator’ using laser guns, is already quite famous and played, while the Escape Room isn’t that much. If you too have never heard of this type of game, it suffices to know that it consists in solving long and intricate series of riddles and problems, with the aim of leaving the room in which you are trapped.
Our experience consists of a Laser Tag team game that lasted 25 minutes. Once we started, we all tried to reason and come up with some kind of strategy to win, occupying the key places, alternating ourselves in defense and attack, trying to always play together, but, as we played, we reacted to the adrenaline of the game by running and playing with impulses.
It is a very adrenaline-filled game, made of running, athleticism, much harder than you think and, given the excellent treatment received and the availability of those who work there, I sincerely advise you to come and try it here.
